Our executive Chef is back from his adventures filming BBC's Great British Menu, and has some new dates in the l'ortolan Demonstration Studio. Let Alan teach you some tips and tricks of Michelin starred cooking, ask him about his television experience and enjoy a slice of the l'ortolan experience. Cookery School Demonstrations
In the l’ortolan demonstration studio you can watch the magic of the l’ortolan kitchen come to life before your very eyes. Demonstrations take place on the first and last Wednesday of each month. For a full list of dates and topics see our programme page
Arrival 10.00am, experience lasts 4.5 hours and includes:
- Tea/coffee & homemade biscuits on arrival
- 1 and a half hour demonstration with Michelin starred chef Alan or Elliott
- Opportunity to try some of the techniques and taste some of the food as it is being prepared
- Champagne & canapés
- 5 course bespoke lunch including chef’s appetiser and pre-dessert
- Glass of red or white wine with lunch
- Still or sparkling water
- Recipe cards to take home
£130 per person or £230 for two
