Gabrielle Elstow has worked with House of Colour as an Image Consultant /Personal Stylist for twenty years training clients how to wear the most flattering colours, styles and make-up in the most exciting way.
'At House of Colour we take clients through a journey to discover firstly what colours suit their natural skin tone. Imagine a natural red head standing beside an olive skinned brunette. What suits each of them is going to be entirely different. My clients gain the confidence to try all kinds of new, exciting colours and find that friends, family and colleagues never stop complimenting them as they look healthier, younger and slimmer and altogether better dressed. Imagine how much easier life can be when you walk into the shops and know what is best for you.
The next stage of the process is to find out what shape of clothes flatter your body shape from which style of necklines, length of jacket or skirt, lapel shape, pattern size andwhether you can wear lace, shine or textured clothes etc. It is a wonderful, empowering experience enabling clients to shop successfully bringing home items that immediately work in their wardrobe. Establishing your character helps you recognise the kinds of styles that will work for you within current trends so that you never feel uncomfortable, foolish or inappropriately dressed.
I will be coming to explain how it all works and using two models from the audience to demonstrate which colour clothes suit you best and using a flattering lipstick and blusher to show you how colour can enhance your look.'
