Laurelle Ronde
Discover the healing power of sound
Did you know that the sounds you hear and the way you use your voice have a profound effect on your mind and emotions? Laurelle will be sharing tips and techniques for using sound therapy in your everyday life in her enlightening lunch talk.
Laurelle has been singing in public since the age of seven and won a Junior Exhibition scholarship to Trinity College of Music in London. She has an Honours degree in Music and English, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and is a fully qualified Sound Therapist with the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) and a member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners.
'I am passionate about helping people by using sound and the voice to free body, mind, emotions and spirit so that life can be lived creatively and to the full. As a result, I founded Your Sound in 2008 with the aim of creating a safe sanctuary for personal transformation through sound and the voice. I run a clinic in Oxfordshire for sound therapy, workshops called The Enlightened Voice and chanting groups in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
I have performed opera, jazz and folk and occasional sing in a rock band. My first piano CD of original compositions – Transcendence – was published in December 2012 and I shall be recording three more CDs in 2012. My first novel – The Witch’s Necklace – is due to be published on Kindle early in 2012'
