Exceptional cuisine, exquisite wines and first class service all combine to make the dining experience at L’Ortolan truly memorable.

Award winning Executive Chef, Alan Murchison, has held a Michelin star here since 2003. The restaurant also has four AA rosettes and an AA Notable Wine List. Alan and his highly talented team prepare artistic food with an awe inspiring array of tastes and textures. The menus are modern French but with influences from other cuisines, contemporary and exciting, and produced using only the finest ingredients available.

Please note that these are sample menus and are subject to change according to availability.

 

Opening Times

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday (open Mondays in the run up to Christmas in December). Please note that you will usually be seated at your table 30 minutes after your reservation time to enable you to enjoy an aperitif in the bar and view the menus beforehand.

Lunch:  Tuesday to Saturday 12:00 noon - 2:00pm

Dinner:  Tuesday to Saturday 7:00pm - 9:00pm 

Please note that we are closed on Sunday and Monday but can open on these days by prior arrangement.
 

Christmas Closure

The restaurant will be closed after lunch on Wednesday 24th December 2014 and will reopen for lunch on Friday 2nd January 2015.
