Village Maid Cheese
Less than 10 minutes drive from l’ortolan, Village Maid Cheese is made in the village of Riseley. Anne and Andy Wigmore started the business in 1986 and now produce three delicious, award winning cheeses. Popular choices on our cheeseboard, Village Maid cheeses also have the added benefit of being gluten free. Wigmore and Spenwood are made from sheep’s milks and are ideal choices for guests with a cow’s milk allergy.
