L’ortolan is an idyllic setting for a small intimate ceremony or reception. Both the Glass Room and Main Dining Room are licensed for civil partnership and wedding ceremonies - making it the perfect place for your special day.

L’ortolan can be hired exclusively for your day, enabling you to celebrate in the privacy of the former vicarage of Shinfield.

Planning

A dedicated member of our team will be on hand from the early stages of planning, right the way through to and including the day giving you peace of mind and allowing you to relax and enjoy your day.

Menu & Wines

Chef Alan Murchison and his brigade have created special seasonal menus for you to choose from, ranging from MENU SUPRISE to a three course lunch. To ensure smooth running of your day we would ask that you choose a single set menu for the entire party. For those with dietary requirements chef will naturally create alternative dishes for them. Children are very welcome at L’ortolan, a children's menu is available on request.
